PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Reporting to the APAC IT Director, the role of the IT Support Specialist is to provide IT support across infrastructure, network, and helpdesk. The primary responsibilities include providing technical assistance to facilitate smooth business operations and support to the regional office. Collaborating closely with the Global team, this role actively contributes to the successful implementation of global projects and initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To perform monitoring, troubleshooting and regular administration/ maintenance on IT infrastructure including network equipment and devices.
- To maintain and deploy endpoints (computers, workstation, POS, and other IT devices) at the airport operation and regional office.
- To manage local IT assets. Responsible for IT procurement, inventory management and license renewal activities
- To liaise with external vendors and coordinate with other IT team members on the resolution of IT incidents and IT project deployments
- To maintain & document procedures, practices, and configurations.
- To align with Global HQ to deploy global initiatives.
- To handle other ad hoc assignment
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Tertiary education or above in Computer Science / Information System / Information Technology or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the technical support role.
- Holder of professional certificate in Microsoft or Cisco product will be advantage.
- Preferably with POS experience and Retail/F&B background.
- Customer service oriented, team oriented, positive, and cheerful attitude
- Good in English and communication skills
