Benefits Summary:
Salary: Basic $3000 - $4900 + VB (Twice a year) + Company Transport (Dual Ways)
Working Time: Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
Location: Loyang Lane
Responsibilities:
Assistant Radio Surveyor:
- Support Radio Surveyor by conducting annual performance tests for VDR/SVDR and statutory safety radio surveys on ships.
- Keep international convention regulations and IMO requirements up to date.
- Manage survey checklists provided by classification bodies.
- Monitor daily statutory survey tasks and identify survey nature.
- Compile survey reports and submit them to the appropriate classification authority.
- Document any equipment non-conformities in survey reports.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Obtain General Operators Certificate (GOC).
Radio Surveyor:
- Perform VDR/SVDR annual tests and safety radio surveys onboard ships.
- Address inquiries and communicate with customers regarding statutory survey issues.
- Monitor and revise international convention regulations and IMO requirements.
- Manage and update survey checklists provided by classification bodies.
- Ensure validity of approval certificates from classification bodies.
- Identify survey types and oversee daily statutory survey tasks.
- Compile survey reports and submit to appropriate classification authority.
- Document equipment non-conformities in survey reports.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
Assistant Radio Surveyor:
- Minimum of two years of pertinent experience required.
- Conduct statutory surveys adhering to SOLAS convention, MODU code, HSC code, and Merchant Shipping Acts.
- Possess technical expertise in GMDSS and VDR/SVDR systems.
Radio Surveyor:
- Perform statutory surveys compliant with SOLAS convention, MODU code, HSC code, and Merchant Shipping Acts.
- Possess technical expertise in GMDSS and VDR/SVDR systems.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience required.
- Hold a General Operators Certificate (GOC).
