Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and be accountable for commercial and financial matters within the APAC region.
- Understand legal and commercial laws and regulations in all APAC countries.
- Coordinate with related departments in HQ to streamline and effectively implement related finance management procedures.
- Participate in sales order value management, monitoring targets, and conducting dynamic analysis throughout the entire process.
- Drive the closing of regional profit target gaps.
- Assume full responsibility for risk control and management in the APAC region.
- Conduct tax reviews in APAC countries, ensuring familiarity with local finance and tax management policies.
- Plan tax and expense budgets to comply with local government rules and requirements for achieving profit goals.
- Efficiently and accurately support business development in cases of limited talent availability.
- Provide support for transformation projects and contribute to their successful implementation.
- Liaise with the Singapore Economic Development Board to ensure compliance with tax incentive
- Provide ongoing support with the establishment of Trina’s International Headquarters in Singapore
Skills Requirement:
- Minimum Master’s degree level or equivalent qualification in related disciplines
- Over 10 years of professional financial experience in relevant industry
- Knowledge of financial and legislative requirements in major markets across Asia Pacific.
- Ability to communicate complex financial matters in plain English.
- Have cross-cultural work experience.
- Qualified accountant
- Able to travel within the region as needed for staff development, audits, stocktakes, etc.
- Direct exposure on the governance and compliance with company polices
- Direct exposure on the divisional cost performance reporting and analysis
- Able to work effectively as part of a virtual team across a diverse range of geographies and functions in APAC
- Self-motivated, independent thinking, and proven track record of senior stakeholder management
