Job Description
CF Global Technologies Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Chong Fong Engineering with footprints in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China. We are providing turnkey engineering solutions for various special process like heat treatment, blasting, shotpeening, welding, waterjet, machining, CNC Automation, NDT systems and others in our product portfolio.
We are currently seeking a competent Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) to join our dedicated team to perform the following tasks within a busy working environment:
Key Competencies:
- Hands-on skillsets on mechanical installation
- Mechanical Design experience or knowledge
- 3D CAD software NX experience highly preferred
- Good communication skills.
Main Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers in mechanical tooling design and mechanical installation
- Drafting of sketches into engineering drawings
- Discuss technical issues with customers/suppliers
- On site meeting with customer/suppliers if required.
- Manage contractors and perform site supervision to ensure our products are properly installed.
- Coordinate with customers/suppliers on project.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Min NITEC in Mechanical Engineering
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work as a team with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge in hands-on mechanical skills, tooling modification or design preferred
- Knowledge in NX or Solidworks or Solidedge CAD software
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- 5 working day week (Monday – Friday)
