The Oncologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and providing comprehensive care to patients with various types and stages of cancer.
What we need for this hire:
- Diagnosis and Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine the type, stage, and extent of cancer in patients.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on the patient's medical history, test results, and individual needs. Treatment options may include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
- Treatment Administration: Administer cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications, and closely monitor patients for side effects and responses to treatment.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their cancer diagnosis, treatment options, potential side effects, and prognosis.
- Symptom Management: Manage cancer-related symptoms, pain, and side effects of treatment to enhance the patient's quality of life.
To excel in this role:
- SMC Registered
- Basic medical degree recognised by SMC
- Other qualification: MRCP (Internal Medicine) / Graduate Diploma in Oncology
- Strong clinical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Working hours: Monday - Friday office hours
- Average of 38 to 42 hours per week - Flexible, can discussed
