Job Descriptions:
1. Handle full sets of accounting treatment, including but not limited to:
- Sales and purchase recognition, AR and AP entries
- Accounting treatment of expenditures
- Accruals and other relevant month end journals
- Proper accounting treatment of Fixed Assets and DD&A
- Check and maintain of all financial ledgers
2. Derivative-related jobs, including but not limited to:
- Daily statement review and analysis
- Preparing periodic statements (weekly, monthly and ad hoc)
- Daily mark-to-market report preparation, margin analysis/forecast, and stress test if necessary
- Relating AR/AP check and payment application (commission, settlement, margin, etc.)
3. Reconciliation of cash balance
4. Accounts balance review and analysis
5. Assist preparing monthly and yearly financial reports.
6. Issue or assist issuing sales Invoices, debit/credit notes, etc. and keep proper record
7. Assist to accomplish check of AR/AP balance, including inter-company accounts
8. Liaise with internal and external auditors
9. Assist to prepare monthly management reporting documents
10. Other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar majors
- At least 5 years accounting experience in petrochemical industry or audit experience in accounting firms
- Strong understanding of derivatives principles and practices is preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Able to read/write/speak and is proficient in both English and Mandarin as the role requires communication with headquarters in China and other Chinese counterparts.
