A leading Industrial company operating in various sectors across the region are recruiting for an Assistant Vice President for Procurement. As AVP, you will be responsible for defining procurement strategy across the organisation, developing processes, systems and capability as well as providing expert advice on CAPEX and related projects.
The Assistant Vice President, Procurement will be responsible for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives to ensure optimal procurement delivery on projects whilst defining procurement strategies and developing a long-term road map for key areas of spend. You will lead the execution of strategic initiatives that will deliver sourcing solutions that meet the needs of stakeholders in a cost effective and optimised manner. In addition, you will work with procurement teams in the execution of category strategies and ensure best practices are communicated effectively to key stakeholders.
The successful candidate must have extensive experience in developing and implementing procurement strategy for CAPEX projects. You will have a proven track record in continuous improvement with the ability to enhance procurement’s offering in a complex setting. In addition, you must be an effective communicator with the ability to engage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders.
