Job Relationship : Reports to Cluster/Department Head
A. Job Summary
You will work closely with the Cluster/Department Head and other Programme Managers within the team to educate, equip, engage and empower caregivers of persons with mental health issues by providing training and emotional support.
B. Responsibilities
- Conduct and facilitate the Caregivers to Caregivers Education Programme (C2C).
- Meet the needs of caregivers through providing information and referral services, and emotional support if necessary.
- Promote awareness of Caregivers Alliance Limited’s (CAL) programmes and services offered.
- Support outreach and partnership efforts with assigned hospitals and other organisations through outreach events and other engagement activities to raise awareness of mental health, caregiving and CAL’s programmes and services.
- Network and build relationships with the assigned hospitals and other assigned organisations to explore opportunities for collaboration and connect with other caregivers to promote CAL’s programmes.
- Ensure timely and accurate data and record entries in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system in support of data analysis and management reporting.
- Attend staff meetings, case consultations and conferences if required.
- Participate and support other colleagues and departments to meet CAL’s strategic objectives while building the desired organisational culture.
- Perform other related duties as required.
C. Requirements
Technical Competencies:
- Strong relationship management and relationship building skills to engage effectively with colleagues as well as beneficiaries, partners and volunteers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Core Competencies:
- Works with others in a collaborative and solutions-focused manner to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Disciplined, organized and responsible in record keeping and collation of reports for accountability and reporting purposes.
Preferred achievements / characteristics:
- Passionate and dedicated to working with families and caregivers of persons with mental health issues.
- Preferably possesses at least a diploma in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology with 1-4 years of related working experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Caregivers with lived experiences and who are trained in C2C are also welcome.
