Job Description

This position is responsible to provide operations development management of the network of SingPost’s lockers and kiosks (eSAM, POPStation, Parcel Santa, and upcoming PopDrop). This role will focus on the development and deployment of new locker and kiosks and be involved in projects of new technology locker and kiosks, starting from tender specification to tender award and full deployment. The incumbent is the key contact point for new implementable lockers and kiosks tasks and work with different parties in areas related to technical issues, deployment, removal, redevelopment.


  • Conduct study of system and delivery operations works to provide support pre-implementation and post implementation with the ultimate goal to be minimal dependent on vendor
  • Conducts site survey prior installation, removal, or relocations of Lockers/ Kiosks.
  • Generates site survey reports and coordinates with all relevant stakeholders on the required preparation works.
  • Manages the entire installation, removal, or relocation process for any locker/kiosks movement.

    Schedules meetings, assigns tasks and tracks progress.

    Tracks project budgets and timelines and identifies potential issues.

    Communicate with stakeholders, such as clients, sponsors, installation team…etc. to keep them informed of the project’s progress and any potential issues.

    Prepares project report, presentation decks and presents to upper management.
  • Explores potential methodologies to improve Lockers/ Kiosks utilization rate and present end results to upper management.
  • Collaborate with software & network teams, operations team and business owners to implement/maintain projects/current systems to meet target improvement in utilisation.
  • Prepare a business case and present to upper management to obtain budget approval for project execution.
  • Works with vendors and cross department stakeholders on next generation for Smart Lockers/ Kiosks projects from tender specification preparation to deployment.
  • Leads digitalisation enhancement within the department to focus on data driven improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degrees in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 1 to 3 years in Engineering related field or related work experience
  • Effective management of timeline and stakeholder management
