Job Description


The Head of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the development and execution of comprehensive EAM strategies across the organization. This position involves overseeing the entire asset lifecycle, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. The Head of EAM provides direction to a team of professionals, collaborates with key stakeholders, and plays a crucial role in providing technical expertise, leads a team of EAM professionals, and collaborates with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful EAM project delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Develop and execute the overall vision and strategy for the EAM practice.
  • Provide thought leadership on EAM capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of EAM projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Develop in market capabilities and steer growth in Singapore for EAM

Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate the overall vision and strategy for enterprise asset management in alignment with organizational goals. Provide leadership and direction to the EAM Practice, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


Digital Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy integrating industry-leading digital platforms such as IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Oracle EAM, and Infor EAM into asset management practices to optimize asset performance and reliability.


Leadership and Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation, and continuous learning. Develop talent pipelines and programs to upskill teams in these platforms for digital asset management.


Strategic Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term asset management strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives, Identify opportunities for expansion, cost optimization, and revenue generation through innovative asset management approaches for our customers.


Operational Technologies Integration: Nurture capabilities Evaluate, implement, and optimize operational technologies (OT) in asset management, such as SCADA, PLCs, and control systems, ensuring seamless integration with digital platforms for real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance


Data-Driven Asset Performance Optimization: Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms available in platforms like OSIsoft PI System or AspenTech's Asset Performance Management to extract insights, optimize asset lifecycle management, reduce downtime, and improve asset performance.


Strategic People Development: Develop and execute strategic plans for talent acquisition, training, and development programs leveraging learning platforms such as Udemy for Business or Coursera for Business to build a high-performing team equipped with necessary digital and technical competencies


Continuous Improvement and ROI Analysis: Establish metrics to measure the success of digital initiatives, conduct ROI analysis, and drive continuous improvement based on data-driven insights using analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

· Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of EAM strategies.

· Provide regular reports and insights to executive leadership on asset performance and opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Information Technology)
  • Extensive experience in Enterprise Asset Management including a track record of leadership in a similar role.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • In-depth knowledge of EAM /APM/ Digital strategies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
