Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for planning, engineering, executing projects related to Facilities Mechanical & Water Related Systems to meet the current and future requirements, tracking system capacity to ensure efficient operation and providing technical support to Operations & Maintenance when required.
The person will be a decision maker and self-starter who meets the challenges of daily involvement to Facilities system operation and program.
What You Will Do:
· Provide Engineering analysis and System design to ensure it meet business needs, corporate insurer’s requirements and regulatory code compliance.
· Specify and review Mechanical Engineering standards, SOPs and maintain Facilities system documents.
· To participate in the review/forecast of budget and scenario.
· To assist in the collection and compilation of data for EDMA (authority) Energy & Water submission.
· Provide technical support to Operations & Maintenance team in resolving complex Mechanical system issues.
· Provide Engineering support to EHS for their environmental/sustainability program/reporting.
· Provide Engineering support to Projects & Tool Install including preparation of Capex request.
· Assist in equipment/component qualification and selection.
· To plan and work on system improvement projects.
· To participate in Energy/Water Conservation program.
· To review Facilities System (ACMV, CHW, DI, PCW, PV, Clean rooms, CO2 level…) to ensure that they are operating within specification.
· Share engineering knowledge and skills with other team members (Building Services, EHS, Engineering, Hook up, Operation, Project....
· Evaluate work performance of the contractor.
· To track and monitor system capacity and specification.
What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):
· Degree in Mechanical or any other engineering discipline with work experience in Facilities Engineering, DI Plant operation, Water/Waste reduction projects in a Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
· Candidates with SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) or WEM (Water Efficiency Manager) certification will be advantageous but not necessary.
· Ability to lead cross functional projects in a fast-paced work environment.
· Good knowledge in relevant Code of Practice, able to read and understand P&ID and basic Project Management skill.
· Excellent Team player, adaptable, organized, highly motivated and analytical.
· Good in communication, interpersonal skills and able to work with minimum supervision.
· Good computer knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, Words, Power point etc
