The Company
The company is a well-established Singapore REIT consisting of an asset portfolio located in Singapore and overseas. There are current plans for ongoing growth via portfolio value creation as well as new acquisitions as the macro headwinds moderate in 2024/25, whilst strengthening the team with the intended appointment of an Assistant Finance Manager.
The Position
Reporting and working closely with the Finance Director, the Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for financial statements, quarterly reporting, MAS reporting and financial reporting. The successful incumbent will be involved with the preparation and reviewing of financial and management reports, including budgeting and treasury related matters. Furthermore, the role will entail establishing and nurturing relationships with auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and other essential stakeholders. Additionally, providing support to management on ad-hoc projects will be a critical aspect of the position.
The Person
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience coupled with a degree in Accountancy. Previous exposure to the REIT industry and audit is highly advantageous. The role requires individuals with a proactive mindset, exceptional self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with stringent deadlines. Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit are imperative for success in this role.
