- You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or any related field in University, and you have significant experience with Engineering Management general skills
- You like sharing and challenging
- You consider yourself as a decision-maker and a critical thinker
- You are a mentor willing to share knowledge
- You demonstrate motivation, great availability and strong responsiveness
- You enjoy leading teams and want to motivate, train and appraise employees’ performance
- You enjoy working within an Agile team and being plunged into a challenging environment requiring reactivity and resourcefulness
COMPETENCIES:
- You have great communication skills
- You are able to develop a strategy in order to foster competitiveness and performance improvement
- You have the ability to define requirements, capitalise, and estimate costs, and you know how to use your organisational skills to guarantee the follow-up of engineering projects—respecting deadlines, costs and quality with a clear vision of risks and opportunities
- You are willing to coordinate and prioritise resources across various entities (e.g.GBU, Countries, Regions…)
- You adopt Lean Management approach and apply Agile principles to the management and development of the team
- You have a good understanding of data and business issues
- You have synthetic and helicopter view of the organisation, and can share the big picture

LIFE AS A THALES ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT ROLE
As an Engineering Management Role within Thales, you will:
- Report engineering performance plan, progress and results to the Engineering Manager of higher Level
- Capitalise and share knowledge to develop skills, mobilities and to improve the competitiveness
- Provide your maturity improvement strategy based on the Operating Model (Process, Practices, Tools, Organisation and Governance, Competencies)
- Build the engineering assessment plan and follow the execution of corrective plans identified through assessments
- Assign responsibilities in the organisation of engineering support for Engineering Environment process and practice support
- Manage Head of Discipline, Head of Engineering Deliveries and Head of Engineering Operations
