Key Responsibilities
- Perform any field survey operations at sea on board a vessel or on land on daily basis under supervision to complete given tasks
- Perform water and sediment sampling at sea that require heavy lifting
- Perform calibration of survey/electrical equipment
- Prepare all survey equipment before survey operation
- Perform loading and unloading of survey equipment
- Require handling, operating and maintaining any survey instrument
- Perform equipment inventory, storage and housekeeping
- Perform data processing
Education and Experience
- Diploma in Marine Science or Environmental Science
- 2 year work experience in survey environment
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent English as communication language
- Must be able to swim
- Must be physically fit
- Able to work outdoors especially on a survey vessel at sea on daily basis
- Able to work and cooperate in a team
- Aware of safety requirements for working at sea
