The School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on evaluating the stability and robustness of node embedding in machine learning, proposing methods for identifying some worst risks and proposing corresponding countermeasures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing metrics and methods for evaluating the stability and robustness of node embedding in machine learning.
- Developing and verifying algorithms for identifying worst risks of node embedding under hostile attack.
- Proposing effective countermeasures that shall enhance robustness of node embedding.
- Contributing to developing a new framework for evaluating robustness of machine learning.
- Contributing to proposal writing to bid for larger research funds for further research.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering or related field
- At least 1-year research experience in related area after getting PhD degree
- Knowledge in robustness of machine learning and its applications.
- Good programming skills in machine learning area
- Good publication records
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Independent and can work well with teammates
- Ability to adopt to changing priority
