Job Description:
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with key clients by understanding their needs and continuously proposing solutions that ensure satisfaction of products and services
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth and maximize revenue from key accounts
- Act as the main point of contact between key clients by addressing their inquiries, resolving issues and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Communicate and collaborate with the marketing, purchasing and logistics departments to meet client expectations
- Negotiate contract renewals and pricing agreements, ensure mutually beneficial terms for both the company and key clients
- Meet established deadlines for the submission of promotion plans
- Assist and resolve any enquiries and issue arising from customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Lead a team of merchandisers to ensure work effectiveness
- Plan and implement new product launching activities
- Analyse competitor activities and market dynamics, adjust account strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive advantage
- Keep track of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and key account metrics, using data-driven insights to measure success and drive continuous improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends and market developments, analyse and implements plans to meet evolving requirements
- Prepare regular reports of sales progress and forecasts
Requirements:
- At least diploma / degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG / Modern Trade
- Proven experience in key account management
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications as well as CRM software
- The ability to build rapport with key clients
- The ability to handle multiple client accounts
