Key Activities:
- Design experimental setup and procedure that best fit commercial manufacturing conditions and carry out experiments.
- Ensure stable production through proper campaign management and performing quality & technical risk assessments prior to production.
- Troubleshoot technical related issues during production by identifying the root cause and propose corrective and/or preventive actions.
- Design and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products, production scale-up and manage technology transfers.
- Ensure that processes and design implementations are consistent with Good Manufacturing Practices and regulatory requirements.
- Review existing production procedures and implement improvements to optimise manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate and manage Technical Transfers of new products through effective communication with researchers in HQ.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Chemistry related fields with minimum 1 year relevant experience in a chemical lab R&D or manufacturing setting.
- Experience in process chemistry and/or organic synthesis is desirable
- Willing to work in manufacturing business field with a combination of researching and engineering skills
- Willing to occasionally work after office hours when needed due to production requirements
- Able to work in a chemical laboratory environment and wear required PPE
- Good work ethic, problem solving and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
