Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Direct sales to furniture factories and other customers.
- Sales to existing customers and new business development.
- Handle Japanese and non-Japanese companies in Southeast Asia.
- Business trips mainly within Southeast Asia.
- Communication with the group factories and external factories as suppliers.
- Gathering information on market conditions and suppliers
- Weekly sales report to Branch Manager.
- Organize subordinates, manage sales and budget, and report progress to the Branch Manager.
- Provide guidance and training to subordinates.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- At least 10 years of experience in sales of wood-based building materials and related wood materials.
- Able to negotiate with customers and suppliers, especially in new business development.
- Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Open to business travel.
- Punctuality.
- Proficient in Japanese to interact and negotiate with Japan HQ and Japanese customers in Japanese on an equal footing, including reading and writing.
- Experience in organizing and training subordinates.
