Looking for patient care assistants to join our established veterinary team at Gaia Vets (www.gaiavets.com).
We are looking for someone that has the determination and passion to learn and grow in veterinary nursing while having a positive attitude towards self-improvement.
A patient care assistant is an entry level position and the perfect first stepping stone for anyone interested in starting a career in the veterinary industry.
Duties include
1) Cleaning and maintenance of property and equipment of the veterinary centre
2) Cleaning and maintenance of veterinary equipment (eg. surgical tools and instruments)
3) General restraint of pets
4) General husbandry of in-hospital patients
5) Aiding and supporting Veterinary Assistants, Nurses & Technicians.
