⇒ Role Summary
Our client currently has several major business/IT projects in progress for which a coordination, alignment and follow-up is needed at architecture level to make sure the projects are supported at the right level by the Solution Architects. This includes major projects like Move-to-Cloud initiatives or a replacement of the Core Banking System on the WM Banks.
In this context, we are looking for a Project Architecture Lead that will be dedicated to the follow-up of these transformation projects.
The candidate will work in Strategy & Architecture team that is composed of Solution and Enterprise architects.
⇒ Main Responsibilities
- Follow-up with the projects managers and projects’ PMO and participate in the weekly/monthly project meetings, act as SPoC for the architecture team for the projects.
- Organize and plan the architecture committees. Make sure the deliverables are available on time for the committee to take place.
- Review capacity of architects and their assignment. Make sure it is compatible with the various on-going projects’ planning.
- Attend project meetings and raise to architects any point that will require some investigation or analysis. Make minutes focused on architecture issues. Escalate in case of misalignment/derogation.
- Represent architects and architecture team position in the meetings where architects cannot attend. Be able to understand architecture and technical topics.
- Build and maintain the high-level architecture view of the program. Help preparing architecture documentation for Group architecture committees.
- Document and/or update WMIS architecture principles with the help of architects
- If he is interested and skilled, the candidate could help and participate on the solutioning itself.
⇒ Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- More than 10 years of experience in IT either as Project Manager.
- More than 3 years of experience in software development.
- Effective planning and organization skills.
- Proactive, engaged, autonomous.
- Strong analysis skills with problem solving attitude.
- Good oral & written skills. Mainly PowerPoint/emails.
- Project management knowledge and experience.
- Technical knowledge and experience across various application, development frameworks, technologies, information domains.
- Experience in Financial & Banking industry.
- Advanced JIRA / Confluence / Excel proficiency (Nice to have).
- Previous experience on leading or solutioning large scale programs from architecture perspective (Nice to have).
- Understanding of the Enterprise Architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices (TOGAF for instance) (Nice to have).
- Knowledge of Temenos Transact / Triple A / WFO (Nice to have).
- Experience on Cloud migration, integration patterns, high availability patterns etc. (Nice to have).
