- Perform site acceptance tests, commissioning and start-up assistance for Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives
- Interface with customers on after sales service, understand and help customers define their needs
- Attend all maintenance related problems on site, trouble shoot and provide technical support to customers as well as resolve technical issues
- Work closely with sub-contractor in fulfilment of repair schedule
- Conduct training to enable users or customers optimizing the product performance
- Provide necessary inputs from field to engineering & factory for designing new products and enhancing existing products
- Validate and ensure full compliance in product application, controls and documentation
- Support product warranty claims and quality issue. Update customer complaints system & prepare monthly failure analysis report
- Project pursuit with engineering, sales teams and external consultants or contractors towards achieving project goals
- Collate and maintain project pursuit reports for management’s review and action plan
Job Requirements:-
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years’ service experience in a similar industry
- Must possess hands-on working experience in technical servicing role and able to work independently at job site
- Sound technical knowledge in Low Voltage Variable Speed Drives. Knowledge in UPS & PLC is an added advantage
- Familiar with Communication Protocols Ethernet/IP, Modbus and Profibus, etc.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills
- Independent with good planning and time management skills
- Customer oriented with good attitude
- Must be ready to support customer requirements with on call system
- Flexible and adaptable in site environment
- Ready to travel for overseas business trips
