Responsibilities:
- Evaluate cloud application requirements and provide architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on Cloud Platform (eg. AWS, Azure, GCP & etc…).
- Provide best practices guidance on architectural design across multiple applications.
- Design available, cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on Cloud Platform.
- Utilize and deploy compute, network, storage, and database services in Cloud environments.
- Identify and define technical requirements for Cloud-based applications.
- Implement and migrate enterprise-scale environments on Cloud Platform.
- Conduct deep dive discussions in AWS architectural principles, AWS global infrastructure, network technologies related to AWS, and security features and tools provided by AWS and similar requirement in other Cloud Platform.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 2 AWS Associate Certifications or AWS Architect Professional Certification or similar certification in other Cloud Platform.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud architecture on AWS.
- Hands-on experience with no less than 2 implementations and/or migrations in enterprise-scale environments.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of recommended best practices for building secure and reliable applications on the AWS platform.
- Preferably having multi-cloud knowledge.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, or ELK stack.
