Job Summary:
DELTEQ, a 20+ year establishment in ICT business, seeks an experienced and competent Account Manager to drive sales and take on customer account management responsibilities. The successful candidate shall focus on acquiring additional revenue streams from existing clientele as well as identifying new customers who can benefit from our product and services offerings. Reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible for meeting/exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas for both revenue and gross profit. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experienced sales person who has performed a hunter role in previous organisations
- Account planning and management, to develop account plans which include forecasting and setting objectives for each sales account. Regularly review and adjust plans as needed
- Ensure scheduled payment from clients
- Deliver proactive account management to a portfolio of key Education and/or Commercial accounts
- Maintain a sales pipeline which is 3 times the sales target assigned per quarter
- Meeting/exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas for both revenue and gross profit
- Plan and attend regular update meetings with the accounts
- Manage ad-hoc queries and enquiries generated by account portfolio
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure the promptness and customer satisfaction of delivery of goods and services
- Development of new clients for the company including winbacks
- Liaison with distributors and principal vendors
- Preparation of tender submission
- Manage and organize successful attendance at relevant trade shows and events in order to gather new leads
- Contribute on a regular basis to internal and external marketing communications
Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent is preferred
- Any other diploma or degree in any other disciplines with a sales training or sales course can also apply
- 3 years and above related experience in infrastructure sales and services sales is preferred
- Track record of consistent achievements in sales
- Familiarity with pre sales and sales bidding in the area of system integration, virtualization, enterprise backup, SAN, cyber-security, automation and cloud computing technology will be an advantage
- Result-oriented with the ability to work independently and under pressure
