This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Student Support Executive.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Primary located in Woodlands Crescent.
Contract Period: From 1 April 2024 to 31 Mar 2025.
Option to Extend: for a further period of 1 APRIL 2025 TO 30 NOV 2025.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours (42 hours per week):
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
The Services required are set out as follows:
The Student Support Executive will work closely with the form/subject teachers, under the guidance of YH,AYH & SH/SM, to:
- support the teachers in the classroom
- assist with classroom routines and administrative matters
- assist in organising and maintaining a structured classroom environment.
- facilitate the use of learning materials that support students’ learning.
- maintain open communication with the classroom teacher, sharing observations, concerns, and successes related to students.
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Possess at least a Diploma (preferably in Early Childhood Care & Education)
- Prior experience as a Student Support Executive or experience in teaching would be an added advantage
- Energetic and passionate to work with children
- Strong communication (writing and speaking) and administrative skills
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
