Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement predictive maintenance of facilities equipment to achieve 100% completion on schedule and minimize unplanned down time to achieve YOY downtime improvement
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors works on site to ensure compliance to Safety guidelines and job specifications
- Ensure timely completion, safety and quality standards of project works
- Train and brief technicians on facilities equipment technical issues and EH&S requirements
- Respond to emergency call back on facilities issues/breakdown
- Plan and implement facilities upgrading projects
- Identify and implement cost saving initiatives
- Support TOS technology council initiatives
- Manage Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) program with contractor
- Ensure compliance to P&W Code of Ethics, Global trade and TOS purchasing standard process requirement at all times
- Ensure facilities meet P&W EH&S & local regulatory (BCA, SCDF, NEA, LTA. JTC …) requirements
- Support and participate in CORE initiatives (e.g. TPM, 6’S’, VSM, DAISE, etc.)
- Attend all required EH&S trainings, adhere to EH&S rules & procedures, and participate in EH&S committee
- Identify and understand the hazards and risks associated with the jobs, and provide briefing and tool box communication to technicians
- Demonstrate personal commitment to EH&S by meeting all EH&S legislation and regulations and driving EH&S compliance and surfacing/ correcting every unsafe situation
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any other related field
- Min 2 years of relevant facilities management experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Fresh graduates are welcome
- SCEM certification will be an added advantage
- Background in Continuous Improvements would be an asset
- Effective communications and organizational skills to work in cross-functional/international business environment to drive vendors / contractors performance and improvements
- Ability to prioritize appropriately to meet customers’ and company’s needs
- Strong analytical skills that drive creative problem-solving, proposal preparation and negotiation
- Team-player with high standards of performance to achieve company goals
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications e.g. MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and PowerBI.
