Your work will help boost the users' trust in utilizing data as the foundation for their investment processes and decision-making.
About the job
Your role involves:
- Enhancing data integrity and establishing protocols for identifying anomalies within datasets
- Delving into data sets to uncover insights, pinpointing features and discrepancies, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders.
- Establishing and refining monitoring practices, frameworks, tools, and libraries, and advocating for their adoption across different teams within the organization.
- Streamlining operations through automation, driving enhancements to our systems by advocating for changes that bolster resilience and dependability.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for ingesting data from various sources
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and recommend improvements to existing systems
Skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will be familiar with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. Proficiency in utilizing diverse data storage and manipulation tools, including SQL, Elasticsearch or Snowflake. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and etc. Exposure to ETL is required for this role.
Candidates from financial services industry background will be highly preferred.
