Job Title: Business Development Executive - International Trade (Building Glass Materials)

Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Executive to drive our international trade initiatives in the building glass materials sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of successfully expanding market share and achieving sales targets in global markets.


Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify key trends, opportunities, and potential clients in the global building glass materials market.
    Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements in target regions to inform strategic decision-making.
  2. Business Expansion Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our international presence.
    Identify and prioritize target markets based on growth potential, customer demand, and competitive factors.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, developers, and distributors, to drive sales and secure long-term partnerships.
    Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and offering personalized solutions to meet their specific needs.
  4. Sales and Revenue Generation: Drive sales growth by actively prospecting and generating leads, leveraging existing networks and establishing new contacts in target markets.
    Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability in international markets.
  5. Contract Negotiation and Deal Closure: Lead negotiations with prospective clients to finalize agreements, including pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
    Prepare and review contracts, proposals, and sales agreements, working closely with legal and finance teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
  6. Market Expansion Initiatives: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and logistics, to support the launch of new products and initiatives in international markets.
    Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and distribution channels to enhance market penetration and accelerate growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or international trade, preferably in the building materials or construction industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in global markets.
  • Strong understanding of international trade practices, export regulations, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in foreign languages and familiarity with international cultures and business practices is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when needed to support business development activities.

Location: This position is based at Singapore, with opportunities for travel to international markets as required.
