This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Operations Executive.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Junior College located in Yishun Ring Road.
Contract Period: From 1 April 2024 (or as confirmed after the issuance of Letter of Acceptance whichever is later) to 31 July 2025.
Option to Extend: for a further period of eight (8) months from 1 August 2025 to 31 March 2026.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours (42 hours per week):
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30am to 5.00pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7.30am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Note: The start / end time may be adjusted upon mutual agreement to meet YIJC’s needs.
The Services required are set out as follows:
School Improvement Works
- Coordinate work activities with the contractor to avoid disruptions to school operations
- Attend site discussions and operations meetings
- Monitor site workers for school safety & security
- Inspect work progress and provide feedback to school management
- Follow up on rectifications of defects
- Provide logistics support to staff including arranging for removal, storage & relocation of school equipment and resources
Administration
- Perform administrative tasks including documentation
- Proper storage and housekeeping of project files and documents
- Track and monitor payment of completed projects and improvement works
Others
- Manage and operate the school communication systems such as Public Announcement System and Audio-Visual System
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the estate management of the school including estate maintenance and cleanliness of the school
- Maintain security and safety of the school premises and property
- Other duties assigned by the management
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Should have preferably 3 years experience in related field
- Should have preferably Diploma in Facilities Management, Project Management, Engineering or related courses
- Proficient in MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good customer-service skills
