How You Will Work With Us

As a Partnership Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding our partnership network, specifically targeting both industrial and residential contractors. Your primary responsibility will be to onboard contractors and promote the use of our paint in their service offerings. You will play a crucial part in educating the stakeholders and end users about our products, ultimately driving sales and establishing strong relationships with customers to expand Gush’s market reach. Your ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our products will be instrumental in promoting the industry adoption of Gush’s products and achieving business growth for the company.

A successful Partnership Manager would be enthusiastic and driven, adventurous, energetic, assertive, and a self-starter. You will report to Head of Sales directly and work laterally across departments.


Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Partnership development:Identify and target potential partnership with industrial and residential contractors.
    Develop and implement strategies to increase the number of partners who purchase and use our products in their service offering.
    Work with management to develop frameworks of qualifying contractors.
  2. Product Education, Specification and Enablement:Develop a deep understanding of our products, their applications, and their unique selling points.
    Educate partners such as interior designers, consultants, architects, or other decision influencers on our USP through presentations, seminars, exhibitions, roadshows, etc.
    Drive for specifications and sales enablement of Gush’s products within the built environment ecosystem.
  3. Sales & Revenue Generation:Drive sales by working closely with partners to promote the adoption of our products.
    Drive sales by working with contractor partners on large scale painting service projects.
    Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to build up a steady stream of pipeline and achieve revenue targets.
  4. Customer relationship management:Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, influencers, and decision-makers in the industry.
    Regularly engage customers through meetings, site visits, industry events, and online platforms to provide ongoing support, gather feedback, and nurture long-term partnership.
  5. Market IntelligenceGather market intelligence to identify potential partnership opportunities.
    Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for product development and new applications.
    Stay updated on latest industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities to position our products.
  6. CollaborateCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management team, logistics, to align product messaging, promotional campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and address any issues or challenges faced by customers.
    Leverage internal resources to enhance sales effectiveness.
  7. Other ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements & Experience:

  • Min. Diploma in Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Chemistry, or a related field. A business or science degree with experience working in built environment industry is a plus.
  • Proven track record in partnership development, sales, or business development roles, preferably within the construction or materials industry. Experience in acquiring and managing partnerships with contractors is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and meeting sales targets. Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, industry professionals, and internal teams. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate the value proposition of our paint to contractors. Ability to present confidently and persuasively. Strong active listening skills to understand and address contractor needs effectively.
  • Proactive individual with the ability to identify partnership opportunities, analyse market trends, and develop innovative strategies to drive growth. Ability to think creatively and adapt to changing market dynamics.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and deliver results. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and drive initiatives forward.
  • Solid understanding of the construction industry and Singapore Built Environment ecosystem, particularly within the contractor segment. Familiarity with advanced materials, paints, or coatings is advantageous.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and support. Ability to anticipate customer needs and deliver tailored solutions. Passion for exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales reporting tools is preferred.
