About Healthy Building Consortium


Supported by Enterprise Singapore, Healthy Building Consortium was formed to consolidate the best-in-class solutions that Singapore has to offer in the healthy building space. The growing trend within the healthy building space represents the next bound of opportunity for companies centred in health and wellness. With the aim to leverage on synergies between the companies, this consortium will facilitate collaboration in raising awareness of the healthy buildings and the solutions that Singapore has to offer within this space. With this synergy, members of the consortium can refer projects to one another, including members in existing opportunities within the relevant market.

The consortium is led by Gush, and comprises of members from LumenAire, Smarten Spaces, GreenA consultant, IFSC Pte Ltd, and uHoo, C2R Green Build.


How You Will Work With Us

As the Business Development Manager for the Healthy Building Consortium (HBC), you will be an integral part of a the consortium, which aims to revolutionize the healthy building industry. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with all members of the Consortium to promote HBC products and solutions collectively, and facilitate the integration and export of each participating company's innovative solutions to key markets in Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe. By effectively communicating and demonstrating the value of HBC members' products, you will play a crucial role in driving industry adoption and facilitating business growth for both the members and the consortium.


Responsibilities:


1. Market Strategy Development: Collaborate with the HBC members to develop effective market strategies that align with the consortium's objectives. Identify opportunities, challenges, and market trends in Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe to maximize the consortium's market penetration and success.


2. Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, partners, and key stakeholders in the target regions. Actively seek out new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the consortium's presence in the healthy building industry.


3. Product Promotion: Work closely with HBC members to create compelling marketing materials, presentations, and demonstrations to effectively promote the consortium's products and solutions. Demonstrate how these innovations address the specific needs of customers and differentiate from competitors.


4. Sales and Negotiations: Lead sales efforts and negotiation processes with potential clients, ensuring that the consortium's products and services meet the client's requirements and expectations. Collaborate with HBC members to create customized solutions as needed.


5. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence. Utilize this information to drive strategic decision-making and provide insights to the HBC members.


6. Networking and Events: Represent the Healthy Building Consortium at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the consortium's visibility and establish connections with key industry players.


7. Reporting and Metrics: Track and analyze sales performance, market penetration, and other key performance indicators to measure the success of business development initiatives. Provide regular reports to the HBC leadership on progress and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.


8. Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with the consortium members to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment on business development efforts. Facilitate the seamless integration of each member's solutions into the HBC's collective offering.


Qualifications and Skills:


- Min. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Material Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles within the building, construction, or related industries.

- Knowledge and understanding of healthy building practices, sustainable construction, and green building certifications.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences effectively.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret market data to make informed decisions.

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
