Logistics & Installer

Objective of role:

  • Handles and control administrative flow of supply chain to ensure smooth operation with no delay in order fulfilment.
  • Liaise with Sales Teams for collection/delivery to meet the deadlines especially orders with targeted dates.
  • Skilled Installation

Warehousing

  • Working closely with Finance for timely and accurate update of inventory matters within the ERP system.
  • Involvement in regular rolling stock-take exercises to ensure accurate stock in system vs physical.
  • Assist in daily management of operations execution, handle operational issue - installation constraints, or transportation issues, compliance issues or unexpected demands.

Local Delivery

  • Communication deliveries schedule with Sales team on a regular basis.
  • Assist to process and plan delivery schedule.
  • Work with various internal departments as well as external parties on the delivery arrangements.
  • Liaise closely with the drivery team on the delivery.
  • Maintain record of the order and submit DO hard copy to Finance department for posting.
  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe, timely manner.
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.

Installation:

  • Assist in installation based furniture manual accordingly
  • Perform assigned duties safely, promptly and uphold the image of company name and reputation.
  • Attend to customers’ questions and responding to complaints in a professional manner.
  • Take pictures of damage items and forward to warehouse administrative team
  • Investigate any discrepancies with the delivered packages
  • Obtain customer's signature on receipts for proof of delivery and good condition of items at time of delivery
  • Able to carry heavy furniture

Others

  • Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Finance, third party logistics.
  • Transfer order creation. Includes but not limit to weekly stock replenishment to the stores, marketing request, defective stocks transfer from warehouse, etc.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

  • Proactive, Strong assertiveness, Excellent planning and analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of inventory and distribution.
  • Effective time management & prioritisation skills.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details.
  • Resourceful, fast and efficient and able to work independently.

Suggested Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma holder in in logistics / supply chain management
  • Possess at least 1 year of experience in logistic.
  • Good interpersonal and communication.
  • Strong coordination ability.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP Software is highly advantageous.
