You will be part of the Planning and Capability Development Department of the Memorial Facilities & Planning Division, which oversees the planning of after-death facilities in Singapore. You will be responsible for leading the planning and launch of new after-death facilities, and maintaining oversight of the development process. This includes projecting the after-death facility requirements and other after-death trade demands as our demographics change over time. This role requires close collaboration and consultation with other Agencies and multiple stakeholders, to ensure timely and sustainable provision of such facilities.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Lead the planning, project management, and development of after-death facilities
- Manage launch of upcoming after-death facilities
- Formulate policy and operational strategies to manage disamenities arising from after-death facilities and associated trades
- Review relevant policies and regulations related to after-death services
- Perform other duties as required under work exigencies
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in development or construction project management or land-use planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Willing to take on finance and procurement responsibilities
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
- Self-driven and always ready to strive for improvement
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with both internal and external stakeholders
