- Based in Singapore, you’ll oversee global reefer operations as a Manager, focusing on pricing for long-haul reefers.
- Your responsibilities include setting pricing strategies, addressing commercial issues, and optimizing yield.
Role:
- Manage daily pricing and operational issues for reefers and related products.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and overseas agents on yield management.
- Identify growth opportunities and conduct business development intelligence.
- Analyze market trends to aid pricing decisions.
- Create and manage performance analytics and reporting for management.
- Collaborate across divisions for efficient cargo shipments.
- Perform ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.
- Limited duty travel for trade shows as required.
- Navigate uncertainties and manage unexpected situations in the shipping market.
- Achieve key performance indicators such as volume and profitability.
- Think critically, assess risks, and develop long-term plans.
- Be a team player and support a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics, with a focus on reefer cargo operations, perishables, pharmaceuticals, or cold chain products.
- Demonstrated success in managing and growing a greenfield division, including profit and loss responsibility.
- Possess deep knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and industry best practices related to reefer cargo.
