The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will report to Manager, Research and Translational Innovation (RTIO) and will work closely within the RTIO team, as well as stakeholders and external partners of the SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH). He/ she will implement RTIO’s 5-year strategic plan for the development of research and translational innovation in SCH and the intermediate and long-term care sector.
The CRC will perform literature review, assist in the writing of manuscripts, study recruitment, and obtain informed consent and conduct research activities in accordance to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA). He/ She will perform research data and biological sample collection according to research Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and specific procedures depending on study needs. He/ She will clean, prepare and calibrate research equipment as needed by studies and as per SOPs and SCH Infection Control policies. He/ She will manage research study database and ensure accuracy and completeness of all data collected in study reports. He/ She will participate in the preparation of abstracts, posters and manuscripts for dissemination of study results and perform other duties, as and when assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition or related fields
- Experience in clinical dietetics and/or research dietetics will be an advantage
- Knowledge of scientific experiments, tests, and data collection protocols
- Proficient in performing indirect calorimetric measurement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
- Meticulous, able to work independently and a team player
- Able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Comfortable to work in-person at both Outram Community Hospital and Sengkang Community Hospital
