Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects such as legacy applications decommissioning and cloud migration, from planning and execution to go-live and post-launch support.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including development, operations, security, and business units, to ensure alignment and buy-in.
- Oversee the decommissioning process, ensuring data integrity, retention, destruction, and minimal business disruption.
- Work with cloud platform service provider to architecture applications on the cloud platform.
- ยท Manage and guide the cloud migration process, ensuring secure and reliable data transfer and application functionality.
- Provide ongoing communication and updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct post-migration assessments and ensure successful user adoption of the new cloud-based applications.
Job Requirements
- Degree with minimum 8 years of experience
- Cloud platform certification
- Project management certification or experience with Project delivery >1MSGD
- Technical: Good strong technical knowledge, a solid understanding of relevant IT infrastructure, security, cloud services. You should be able to ask pertinent questions, evaluate technical solutions, and communicate effectively with technical team members.
- Communication: Clearly explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non- technical audiences in a concise and engaging manner
- Preferably with experience in cloud migration and applications/servers decommissioning
