As an IT Infra Engineer, you will assist with implementing, managing, and providing ongoing support for the system, IT infrastructure, and suite of business applications. Leveraging your expertise and broad knowledge of the technology stack to provide effective online, telephone and onsite technical support with internal and external parties in a friendly and professional manner.
Job Description:
- Liaise with internal and external parties in day-to-day operations and incident Management.
- Respond to general IT related queries and liaise with internal departments or third parties until incident closure.
- Investigate and resolve hardware and software problems from internal and external parties.
- Assigning & providing accurate data to next level support teams and escalating when necessary on behalf of users. Ensure that all assigned calls are resolved within SLA or escalated at the appropriate times. Ensure that the Problem call is raised and managed in line with SLA's and KPIs.
- Co-ordinate onboarding and off boarding processes for Employees and System users (including creation, deactivation, resetting passwords and help with login issues)
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Movement of IT equipment within the office, as needed.
- Ensure the current IT infrastructure fleet remains in compliance with company standards, statutory and security requirements.
- Manage or support IT related projects.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelors' degree in Information Technology or related studies.
- 3 years' relevant experience in an IT service or related field.
- A good understanding of IT Infrastructure principles and hands-on troubleshooting & configuration technical skills across network, server (both Windows and Linux), desktop, virtualization and cloud environments.
- Server patch management, end-point security management
- Experienced in ITIL processes, project tracking and management.
- CCNA / MCSA / ITIL Foundation certification is highly desirable.
- Be able to operate on a rotational shift pattern roaster covering Monday – Friday (Monthly or Bi-Weekly)
