We are a leading construction company specializing in road signage and related products in Singapore. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of road signage projects while adhering to the requirements set by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Land Transport Authority (LTA).
Responsibilities:
- Working out of estimates for the proposed work and submit within specific timeframe;
- Setting up traffic control / division plan for the work;
- Submit the detailed calculation and plans;
- Measuring and preparing job measurement sheets for payment of completed Works;
- Attending monthly progress payment, operation meeting and other meetings required at office / site;
- Ensuring all the plant and equipment are in good working condition and the temporary signing arrangement at site is in accordance with the Code of Practice for Traffic Control at Work Zone (Latest Edition) before the commencement of Works:
- Planning and ensuring smooth operation of the work;
- Ensuring works carried out is according to the Contract Specifications:
- Submitting weekly progress reports on Planned Jobs, Provisional Works / Provisional Quantities; and
- Others as instructed by the superior(s).
Requirements:
- have at least three (3) years relevant experience in road and road structure construction;
- have a Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers (PE) Board or qualifications acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control for registration as Resident Engineer.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other relevant software applications.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.
