Our client is in Trading industry. They are looking for an Assistant Regional IT Manager to assist their Engineer team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in East – easily accessible.
Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP IT support, including CRM & WMS software.
- Oversee Information Technology and Computer Systems management.
- Ensure compliance of all equipment and installations with safety codes and regulations.
- Identify and recommend new technology to align with company strategy and enhance IT functions.
- Strategically plan, organize, control, and assess IT and electronic data operations.
- Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems integrity.
- Diagnose, test, and rectify equipment or software malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance of communication systems with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain smooth daily IT operations with zero downtime for critical applications.
- Coordinate with other departments to identify and address their IT needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate asset-related technologies seamlessly.
- Manage IT vendors and regularly evaluate their performance.
- Contribute to IT strategy development to align with organizational strategies.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge on ERP IT system such as SAP, Oracle, Exact Globe or equivalent
- Proficiency in SQL for database management and manipulation will be added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as on-site IT Manager for a mid-size company.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
