Our client is in Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Assistant Engineer (PLC) to assist their Engineer team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in West – easily accessible.
Duties
- Crafting PLC logic and configuring HMI systems.
- Setting up PLC network infrastructure.
- Conducting User Acceptance Tests (UAT) to align with specified requirements.
- Ensuring service commitments are fulfilled and align with customer expectations.
- Analyzing and resolving electrical and automation issues.
- Creating software programs and overseeing testing and commissioning for PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, soft starter, and power meter systems.
- Remaining adaptable to learning new technologies and products.
- Providing on-site technical assistance for PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, soft starter, and power meter installations, including troubleshooting.
- Offering hands-on technical solutions for pre and post-sales support to the sales team.
- Reviewing engineering specifications, drawings, and instructions to ensure customer requirements are met.
Requirements
- Minimum Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
- Experience in PLC and HMI Programs for machine controls
- Experience in Industrial Automation Products troubleshooting and commissioning like VFD/Soft starter/Power Meter/Breakers etc will be added advantage
