Senior Product Stewardship Advisor - APAC

Tronox is a global leader in the industry, committed to sustainable practices and innovation. As the regulatory landscape in the APAC region evolves rapidly, presenting both challenges and opportunities, we are seeking a seasoned professional to join our dynamic team as a Senior Product Stewardship Advisor.

As the Senior Product Stewardship Advisor for the APAC region, you will:

  • Provide expert stewardship support to R&D, Technical Services, and Sales/Commercial teams, serving as the central point of contact for ensuring product compliance with applicable regulations e.g Food Contact, Medical Devices.
  • Lead Product Stewardship activities related to new product development, global inventory, and registration requirements in collaboration with Operations, Sales, Legal, and Research teams.
  • Represent Tronox in industry and trade associations, task forces, and committees, influencing best practices, regulatory frameworks, and policy development.
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape for emerging issues that may impact Tronox's business activities and provide strategic recommendations to the team.
  • Support Tronox's Sustainability programmes and initiatives.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in a senior product stewardship or regulatory affairs role.
  • Extensive experience in product stewardship or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks, especially in the context of emerging 'REACH-like' regulations.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to represent an organization in industry associations and regulatory forums.
  • Strategic thinking and proactive approach to identify and address emerging regulatory challenges.
  • Familiarity with TiO2 and its regulatory landscape is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
