Our financial services client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee Settlement Services, Business Services, and Loan Administration at their Singapore branch. This is a dynamic role that requires a blend of expertise in financial instruments, loan administration, payments, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Settlement Services, Business Services, and Loan Administration functions.
- Handle loan administration tasks for the credit portfolio of the Singapore branch, including bi-lateral and syndication setups.
- Oversee local SGD payments, including participation in e-GIRO and CTS industry testing.
- Ensure compliance with standardized documentation for various financial products.
- Utilize strong product knowledge to oversee bookings and settlements.
- Focus on managing outsourced processes, maintaining procedures and checklists, and initiating control tests to monitor service providers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Banking and Market Operations at a large financial institution.
- Working experience in an international environment is advantageous.
- Good knowledge and understanding of banking products and operational workflows.
- Familiarity with global and local regulatory requirements and market practices.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
