Job Description
- HR Operations - On-boarding, Employee Life Cycle and Off-boarding
- Ensure pre-employment background checks are aligned and complied with the Bank’s regulatory standards
- Ensure pre-employment and on-boarding process is followed up (e.g. Issuance of Employment letters, completing relevant on-boarding documents, creation of Employee ID, and notify Hiring Managers, Admin, IT and other departments where appropriate)
- Ensure new hire is notified on job description, annual performance plan & goal setting and mandatory learning within the first month of joining
- Creation of new Employees p-files & maintenance of existing Employees p-files
- Performing file audits to ensure that all required Employees documents are collected and maintained, any onboarding discrepancies and alerts are followed up
- Respond to queries from Employees on HR related matters
- Act as the key liaison with Ernst & Young for employment pass related matters
- Collate and summarize employee movement (e.g. New hire/Transferee, Promotee, Leaver/Resignee) on regular basisEnsure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements by keeping abreast of the latest legislations and enforcing adherence to these requirements
- Creation of new hires profile and maintaining employees profiles, allowances, claims in Timesoft system
- Ensure payroll process for Singapore is properly executed in accordance to the Bank’s and local regulatory guidelines and policies
- Ensure timeliness and accuracy of Singapore employee salaries, benefits and CPF payment
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of local tax reporting for employees
Job Requirements
- A University degree/Diploma from a recognized institution. Professional Human Resources designation or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- With at least 5 years of Human Resources work experiences preferably in the banking industry
- Fast learner with a keen eye for detail
- The incumbent requires a good understanding of the Bank’s Human Resources policies and practices including compensation and benefit programs in order to respond effectively to enquiries
- Good interpersonal skills and must possess well-developed written and oral communication skills to effectively deal with employees’ queries
- Demonstrates flexibility and good organizational skills to effectively deal with multiple demands and changing priorities
- Good understanding of local employment regulations
