Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maritime Technical Expert to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting customers worldwide. You will leverage your expertise in Monitoring Systems to provide exceptional service, commission projects, and offer remote guidance to ensure smooth operations across the globe.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive customer support, commissioning, and service for our Maritime Merchant & Automation product portfolio.
  • Manage service activities in Southeast Asia, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Conduct technical preparation and testing in workshop environments.
  • Meticulously plan and execute assigned tasks, ensuring adherence to performance standards.
  • Generate detailed service reports, update technical documentation, and maintain accurate cable information databases.
  • Provide remote guidance and product support to customers, manage refit/retrofit projects, and offer critical backend support to the service team.
  • Collaborate with the sales department to address technical inquiries.
  • Manage pre- and post-service administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Demonstrate adaptability by successfully completing ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of field experience in alarm monitoring and control systems is essential.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware/peripherals and basic software applications is required.
  • Prior onboard ship experience with automation systems (controls and propulsion), system process knowledge, distributed control systems, and power management is highly valued.
  • Proven track record in the maritime industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Result-oriented, self-motivated, and possess strong project management skills.
  • Meticulous and methodical approach to remote case handling.
  • Passion and patience for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and travel internationally on short notice.
