The Manager, Global HR Operations will report to the CHRO and play a crucial role in integrating the HR business function towards MNC standards and Globalisation. Success in this position involves providing sound advice to senior management, ensuring group HR functions are met and aligned with business needs, and supporting rapid business growth through multitasking and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop, review, propose, enhance, implement, and execute new initiatives, work processes, and policies to support business needs.
- Lead and design workflow, policies, and processes management, performance management, and compliance independently.
- Lead and enhance new employee onboarding and employee experiences.
- Serve as the point of contact for all employment relations and compliances to labour law.
- Responsible for employee relations by providing counselling or disciplinary action.
- Facilitate organizational structure/design discussions.
- Develop and monitor the global annual budget for HR services, employee recognition, company events, benefits, and entitlements.
- Assist in managing the overall financial budgeting for HR and its related functions.
- Conduct employee onboarding, when required.
- Undertake tasks on performance management such as monitor and keep track of Confirmation Review/Appraisal of all employees and assist in the annual performance review exercise.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave administration, compensation queries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Updating organization charts for the Group regularly.
- Execute monthly payroll administration with compliance to the legislations by government bodies such as Central Provident Board, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Ministry of Manpower, etc., including managing payroll of 1000+ headcount globally.
- Conduct internal and external HR-related surveys, such as Ministry of Manpower Labour Market survey and employee satisfaction survey.
- Prepare HR reports and assist in budgeting exercises.
- Preparation of HR letters as required.
- Manage leave administration via the HR system.
- Apply and monitor all foreign passes (Work Permits, S Passes, Employment Passes, Dependant Passes, Letter of Consents, TWP etc.) and process its renewal on time.
- Perform administration of training programmes for employees, whenever necessary.
- Submit government claims such as SDF funding, maternity, Childcare, NS claims, etc.
- Take charge of offboarding procedures and its administrative works such as preparation of offboarding letters, update HR system and employee personal files, etc.
- Assist in employee engagement planning and activities, whenever required.
- Any other ad-hoc activities tasked by the CHRO.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Candidate should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Human Capital Development, Business Management or equivalent.
- Experience in handling Indonesia Payroll, and familiarity with regulations there.
- Led the end-to-end implementation of a comprehensive HR Information System (HRIS)
- Minimum 8-10 years working experience at same capacity performing international HR related matters.
- Prior experience from a related industry (such as Manufacturing or FMCG) will be advantageous.
