We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Industry Development Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will play a crucial part in driving business growth and establishing our presence in the market. As the Industry Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marcom, Consulting, and Learning & Development to achieve our strategic objectives.
Job responsibilities include:
● Implement business development strategy: Analyze business development strategies; create effective plans for the sales team, set long-range goals for market penetration; manage bid preparation and proposals; contribute to our online presence; leverage sales tools, adapt strategies to industry trends, forecast accurately; and build strong client relationships
● Develop new business opportunities: Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities; researching and prospecting potential clients, identifying new business opportunities for growing revenue, strengthening market position; establishing connections, and obtaining insights from business network on developments in product/ service offerings in relation to industry needs; conducting sales presentations, and nurturing relationships to generate business growth; present business trends and impact on new products/ services and distribution channels
● Manage relationship with clients and channel partners: Communicate client feedback and market sentiments to internal stakeholders to enhance products/ services; develop engagement plans to strengthen client relationships, uncover business concerns; evaluate feedback for improvement, and manage resolution of client queries, ensuring a superior client experience.
● Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support business opportunity: Collaborate with the product team to support the product roadmap; work closely with the project team on customer engagements; address customer and support issues with the support team, and collaborate with the marketing communications team for marketing collaborations, publicity, and testimonials.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field
● Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Business Development, Sales and Account Management
● Demonstrated success achieving quotas through direct selling efforts
● Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
● Highly motivated, resourceful, and independent worker who is proactive and customer-focused
