Job Description
- Responsible for schedules and forecasts of project development.
- Work with relevant personnel to rectify any electrical issues.
- Involve in design electrical works and make sure specifications are in line with Authority’s code of practice and requirement.
- Liaise, coordinate, and monitor project progress to ensure that schedule is on time as planned.
- Prepare method statement, risk assessment, construction drawing, catalogue submission, safe work procedure and all other documents as requested by site.
- Plan, manage and coordinate all site matters, ensuring compliance to Project specifications, regulations and schedules.
- Technical specification review and recommend appropriate resolution.
- Directs, supervises and train technicians on engineering activities on site to meet all project requirements.
- Actively use the right tools to collect and observe data to ensure good coordination with team activities and communicates project status through technical reports.
- Co-ordinate and attend meetings with the Structural, Architectural, and other M&E contractor, sub-contractor, consultant, and client’s representatives to resolve project related problems and issues.
- Monitor project cost activity to take actions on cost deviation.
- Attend and conduct of Factory Testing and Site Testing and Commissioning of system
- Collect all necessary accurate data and share information pertaining to project issues, budgets, and schedules in project meetings.
Job Requirements
- Strong technical ability to develop, optimize designs for analogue and digital mixed circuit design, microcontroller and embedded system for electro-mechanical system
- Proficient in 3D CAD software (such as Altium, SolidWorks Electrical etc), in creating electrical schematic, cabling drawings, PCBA
- Good knowledge and experience in performing simulation and analysis and technical review of PCBA and circuit design (analogue, digital, power)
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience for EMI/EMC. Knowledge on EE design standards (IEC, IPCs etc) for medical device is an added advantage
- An analytical problem solver to identify root cause, devise/evaluate/recommend optimal solutions to prevent future issues
- Natural ability to communicate technical information, and build interpersonal relation with the team members
- Able to work independently, self-motivated and organized with good teamwork skills
