The Goal

Your role as a Senior Project Manager has a key role in delivering complex projects that involves participation of several departments, 3rd party providers as well as external customers. Projects may vary and be relating to anything from implementing new digital payment methods across several banks to upgrading datacenter hardware or developing complex new betting functionality.

You will work on process improvements, maintaining and updating documentation, coordinating ongoing activity with the agile development teams and manages stakeholder expectations to deliver complex projects on budget and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manages the day-to-day client stakeholder interaction and planning for multiple large-scale projects.
  • Manage project pipeline and resource allocation across the account to maintain high team utilisation
  • Financial management of projects within team, including project creation, time tracking and approval, and month end processes to support the finance department
  • In conjunction with the associated Development Lead / Senior Software Engineer(s), matrix management of a team of developers involved in developing and maintaining processes for efficient delivery of software to customers across the account / functional area
  • Reviewing working relationships with the customer. Proactively provide continuous improvement by investigating ways to improve the quality of communication, processes and deliverables
  • Escalate commercial issues (where appropriate) to the Sales Department, including breaches of the license agreement and highlighting potential business opportunities
  • Maintain and provide all stakeholders with a clear resource view from a capacity and capability perspective
  • Managing and motivating technical teams, involving both local and remote teams, to deliver software enhancement projects
  • Work with the client and internal support teams to manage production Incident investigations and fixes.
  • Working with internal and external teams to plan and manage production deployments across multiple time zones.

You will have…

  • Strong analytical skills to assess the performance of the team to drive continuous improvement and act upon key business KPIs
  • The desire to motivate and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong risk management skills
  • Strong experience in a project management role within a software development environment
  • Excellent external and internal stakeholder management skills at all levels
  • Experience of leading a medium sized project team with full accountability
  • Ability to set or implement priorities and focus teams on what is most important
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC including experience with Agile Development methodologies.

Desirable

  • Scrum Master certification
  • Experience of working in the Online Gaming and Sports betting industry
  • Other formal Project Management qualifications such as APM or PMP
  • Development experience
  • Release Management experience
  • Tools experience - JIRA, Confluence, Tenrox, O365, Monday.com
  • Profit and Loss tracking
  • Experience of working in a software supplier environment managing external stakeholders
