Salary: $3500 - $4000 + Transport Allowance up to $1200
Position Summary
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is a sales position in the field of environmental systems. Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer is required to enhance the sales activities by searching for new customers, developing customer relation, growing the customer base and converting leads into sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve individual sales target by conducting the full sales cycle of lead generation, follow-up, service delivery and closure of transaction.
- Plan and oversee daily activities in meeting the project progress and quality goals.
- Provide continuous after sales support such as helping customers identify problems with installed equipment (if any), recommending improved material, machinery or parts for replacement and maintenance.
- Continuously improve on own’s knowledge on supplier’s products with the aim to introduce technology that add value to the customers.
- Review sales activities with the management on a weekly basis, including the status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals and status on deadlines.
- Working with the Sales Manager, produces report regularly to communicate with supplier on sales activities and status of project.
- Ability to travel within Singapore as required up to 70% of the time. Occasional travel beyond Singapore
Requirement
- Diploma or Degree in any engineering fields.
- Prior experience in a similar industry with similar sales cycle with proven track record of success.
- Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
- Prior experience with tender systems such as Gebiz
- Class 3 Driving License is a must, with or without own car welcomed to apply
