Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and availability.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access or breaches.
- Participate in the development and documentation of system procedures and standards.
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed.
- Assist in managing backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to the systems environment.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Key Requirements:
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
- Proven experience in server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux/Unix (is a plus)
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of storage technologies and concepts (e.g., SAN, NAS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
