Senior Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Lead & design the work plan for assigned IT projects, user requirement gathering, impact and gap analyst, manage their development and delivery
- Manage and reconcile conflicting demands and expectations while trying to meet agreed timelines
- Design and provide solution to business requirement, complete the function and flow optimizing of application and solve performance problems in complex locations
- Analyze and develop technical and functional specifications provided by business users
- Design, code and test programs to support the application systems development plan
- Maintain and support current applications; configure and modify program source codes or scripts
- Design and develop new module add-ons to current systems to meet the changing business demands
- Provide leadership and expertise to the software development team in broad technical areas on various organization-wide projects
- Provides guidance, training and coaching to other team members
- Provides systems support to users & resolve issues as they arise
- Take-on new projects/tasks as and when required
- Comply with the requirement set in Quality Management System; FSC CoC Management System; Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, and any other management systems deem related to this industry.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of hand-on experience in software development life cycle using Jave or Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft ASPC, PHP, Java script, HTML, .NET framework programming and in which 2 years are in Microsoft Navision and C/Side programming preferred
- Proficient in business requirements gathering, formulate, define and document the functional system specifications
- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, windows and Linxu operating systems
Must have a strong background in software enhancement/development, systems integration experiences
